When traditional child therapy isn't enough, parents need a way.
better
We built Parente because families wait months for care and even longer to see change. It's time for a new approach that empowers parents as the solution.
THE PROBLEM WE’RE SOLVING
12% of California children have diagnosed behavioral health conditions
Average wait time: 43 days just to see a child psychiatrist
Only 52% of children with diagnosed conditions actually receive treatment
Traditional approach: Weekly child therapy that doesn't empower parents
The Youth Behavioral Health Crisis is
Real
Meanwhile, you're managing behavioral crises 24/7 with no professional support between appointments.
Every parent knows the feeling.
Your child has another meltdown in the grocery store. The school calls again about behavioral issues. You feel helpless, overwhelmed, and alone.
You're not imagining it—it's getting harder.

OUR FOUNDER’S STORY
Why We Started Parente
Started

Dr. Eduardo Bunge
Co Founder - Director
Dr. Antonio Hardan
Co Founder - CMA
As a parent and clinician, I watched families struggle with a system that wasn't designed for them. Parents would bring their children to therapy week after week, but the real behavioral challenges happened at home—during homework time, bedtime routines, and everyday transitions.
Parents are with their children 24/7. Therapists see them 50 minutes a week at best. There had to be a better way. If we could empower parents with evidence-based tools and and ongoing 24/7 support, families could make progress every day.
That's why we created Parente—and why we built Pat, your therapist assistant who's available whenever you need guidance most.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
The Parente
Difference

Parent-Led Interventions
Other approaches treat the child. We empower the parent, and treat the child.
While other providers focus only on the child, we train parents to be the solution. Because parents are the ones managing bedtime meltdowns, homework battles, and morning routines.
Pat, Your 24/7 therapist assistant
Other approaches offer weekly appointments. We provide daily guidance.
Meet Pat, your therapist assistant available whenever behavioral and emotional challenges arise. Get step-by-step support during the moments you need it most—not days later during a scheduled session.

Accessible & Affordable
Other approaches cost $195-350 per session. We offer comprehensive monthly plans for just $200/month.
With bilingual English/Spanish services and Medi-Cal billing (coming soon) we serve families that traditional therapy leaves behind.
OUR MISSION AND VALUES
To. every parent with the tools, support, and confidence to help their child thrive—making therapy move every day and that can last a lifetime.
